From a Biophilic, Regenerative, and Sustainable Design to ‘Rewilding’
We are excited to introduce a groundbreaking approach to architecture and interior design that integrates elements of nature into the built environment. Our biophilic design aims to harness this connection, creating spaces that enhance well-being, productivity, and overall quality of life. It seeks to cultivate environments that nurture the human-nature connection.
Natural light and ventilation, impressive views of nature, natural materials, water features, and an overall design that utilizes biomorphic forms are central to our approach. Organic shapes and patterns inspired by the natural world in design elements such as furniture, textiles, and artwork can evoke a sense of harmony and relaxation.
Introducing Rewilding in Our New Project at Drake
What is Rewilding?
Rewilding translates to “renaturalization” or “revolt of the wild.” Its primary objective is to restore biodiversity, foster ecological resilience, and allow landscapes to develop more autonomously.
Rather than merely conserving natural areas, rewilding aims to reestablish natural dynamics, such as ecological succession processes, animal migrations, and species interactions. This approach restores natural balance by promoting natural regeneration processes.
We have appointed Escarabeo, a professional rewilding team, to support us in this process. Learn more about them at Escarabeo Regenerative Design & Rewilding.
