Included in your stay is daily housekeeping and laundry services. As part of our commitment to sustainability and eco-friendly development, all our cabins are kept cool using natural methods (passive cooling) including white roofs, ceiling fans, cross ventilation, and eco-friendly architectural design. Over 90% of the construction material used in our cabins is recyclable.
Sandglass will soon be adding 15 new bungalows to the resort, all with impressive ocean views, plunge pools, an awe-inspiring restaurant, and a swimming pool area. Expanding on Drake Bay’s delicate tropical beauty, Sandglass will continue to offer the comfort and attention to details our guests have come to expect.

Guests dine in the open-air restaurant and enjoy a wide variety of gourmet meals, all inspired by traditional Costa Rican cuisine with a modern fusion flair. Our chefs use only the best and freshest ingredients sourced from local farmers, including fresh fish, locally grown shrimp, grass-fed beef, local vegetables and tropical fruit.
